We are pleased to announce team/club registration for the first 2010 Colorado High School Mountain Biking Racing Series is now open. Ride Leaders, Assistant Coaches, and Head Coaches may also obtain a General Volunteer License which includes liability insurance.

Coach Registration

The Coaches Licensing Program, devised by NICA, was first established in 2008 in an effort to ensure that Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Ride Leaders are trained in the best practices of youth mountain bike coaching. Obtaining your license also provides the League's comprehensive liability insurance and ensures that basic youth worker precautions are being made.

Our program is set up to encourage all Ride Leaders, Assistant Coaches, and Head Coaches to start working towards these higher level licenses. However, in 2010 all volunteers can participate with a General Volunteer License. Lastly, each team will need to have a coach attend the 2010 Leader Summit on June 5/6 to avoid a penalty fee of $50.
